Trigger question, renaming a player?

I already searched for this and failed to find anything.

For a map I am working on, I want to make it so that players can rename themselves. For example...

"-rename help"

I want the triggering player's name to turn to "help". I know this is possible because I've seen is dozens of times. Right now I can get it when a player says "-rename help", his name changes to "-rename help", or just "-rename" (depending on the action in the trigger).

So, please help!

You have to use part string event not the whole string
Then u refer to the part of the typed string that contains the name

 

[Mini-Me]

event - players types '-rename' as a substring
conditions - none
actions -
-set the name of triggering player to substring (9,999)

999 being the lenght limit of the name.
