I need a trigger that makes a player treat all units of type X owned by player brown as an enemy. It can't treat brown as an enemy, because there are some other units of brown that I don't want able to be attacked with this trigger.

Okay.... This is the trigger help section, you should be telling me how to do what I asked or giving me advice, not telling me how hard the trigger will be.

OKay, how about this...
Event: A unit other then player 12 brown enters accquisition range of unit
conditions: accq range unit (how would i say that) has buff: unholy aura
action: order entering unit to attack accq range unit

would that work?

No, they could tell there unit to stop attacking. My way, even if they tryed to attack again they would be stopped again..
EDIT: Mine has flaws too. They could attack faster that the trigger makes them stop....You can make it a unit is ORDER to attack it instead of IS attack though.

OKay look y'all, here is the scenario:
Player 12 (Brown) is a CPU player that I use for various NPCs and such, every player is allied with Brown. There is one unit type of theirs that I want to be attacked whenever another unit comes near it. I need help creating the trigger to do this, also, they don't have to be attacked, like if the entering unit's owner orders him to stop attacking, that would be fine, he doesn't have to attack it if he doesn't want to.

Bob's sucks if you have any Unit is Attacked events though (which you shouldn't)

Also, it's annoying because your units chase their guys anyways, and turn to face them. They also potentially attempt to attack them rather than actual threats.
Btw, who is bob referring too?

Ontopic, why cant you just make the units owned by a differnt player?

Because, obviously, I would like there to be as many Human Player characters as possible, thus: more NPCs=less human players. Also, the unit of topic is set to wander and interspersed randomly throughout the map, they are just supposed to wander around and be killed occasionally. I don't want them to be controllable.

yea give him another player which neutral with you.
Thats a good idea, kinda. If a unit goes near him change himm to a enemy player and when he leaves make him a allied one again....Allthough then again its not good of an idea.

@Purplepoot: Yeah, I though you were but I wasnt sure. But yes, how many players do you need?

make a spellbook for the unit u want to attack, and then make a skill inside tht (with base of Evasion or something, and turn it to give no evasion things and make it give ya a buff) then give the spellbook to ur unit and disable the spellbook. make it tht when it enters acquistons range (the unit i mean to kill) and if it has the buff ( it might be for example Threat) the unit will issue order to attack it.
