Hello!
I have quite practiced my skill with traditional drawing and painting for about, a couple of years now. I'm not great yet, and I've convinced myself that I still have a lot to go through. And in that regard, I want to learn how to color my sketches through a digital media (like PS).
I just don't know how. I've tried once, with this dragon I drew, and I found that coloring that thing was harder than I thought. Firstly because I felt like I was always applying the same constant pressure with each stroke, and to apply a gradient I had to go lower or higher with the color's sat each time. I mean, sure no proper piece takes fast time to make, but I felt more sluggish during that time, than say, if I was using pencils.
I don't have a graphics tablet, so I'm pretty much doing everything with a mouse. I come here searching for tips, and perhaps even techniques, on trying what I want to accomplish. In a more specific sense, I guess that would be how to color a paper sketch in Photoshop.
