tips for this skin

im doing a master chief skin and i would like some feedback.this is just the first version so when i submit it i will take all your comments and use them in my skin.

anyhow looks like you need to shade.

Looks nice for a clay model... SHADING SHADING SHADING! That's what it needs. Make the lines more distinguished and more contoured if you can

two Important things when u are goin to shade:
Use time and Use Dodge and Burn, else you should use some different "grade" of the color ur shading too..

thanks about doing that post i forogt about taht skin. anyways i was a noob when i made it.i didnt know about opacity and differnet kinds of brushes lol.

You had some talent, but it wasn't applied correctly, halo. Oh yes. In the screenshot, the marine would look better if you gave the shoulderpads a little shine to make it look as realistic as the frikkin skin can be, which I blame the wc3 engine for.

yes is really in need of shading and defining. but dont make those lines too thick and dark. also add lighting. burn and dodge are an excellent method of making metallic effects. you also need to make it a bit tectured instead of completely smooth and flat. try blending a bit more colors within the skin.
