In upgrading a map from a friend, unfortunately he used Jass instead of triggers. By using Jass my friend wanted to create a gate thats fine, but I need to destroy it now :p the problem is that I cant see the gate so I thought that I would just make a trigger that does damage to a area at the event when a unit enters a region etc. etc. but I cant seem to make it work ? no pretty effects is needed just that some damage is done to this area where the gate spawns. ?

I know/hope it is a simple trigger but have been trying the last 2 hours now without luck so I gave up :p

Thanks in Advance !

He use jass instead of trigger?? What?

I guess "he use jass instead of gui".

What you mean you cant see the gate since you said that the gate spawn.

Assign the last created destructable (the gate) to a variable and do whatever you want.

Ye that doesn´t work cause it aint the last thing which is created :p so if I choose the last created ..... then it will be some random thing everytime. aint it just possible to do dmg at a certain area ?

Do this.

Declare variable of type destructable. Name it as "gate1".
Search for trigger that spawn the destructable.
Add this.. Set gate1 = Last Created Destructable which assign "gate1" to the last created destructable..
Then, if you want to operate the gate. Just use the "gate1" coz the variable refer to the spawned gate.
