As I walked through the door,
I found my love in such a gore,
Lying upon the floor and such she bore,
A spot of red in Death inside her core.
As I saw this picture my heart became sore,
Of all the memories of yore and more,
Of my love now lying upon the floor,
Because of her life she tore.
But why? said I, why take your life and more,
I walked through this door for my love and for,
But now you lie on the floor as you tore
Your life away while you may still adore.
I see no goal to this life of yours,
So now I lay on the floor next to my love and bore,
My own heart from inside my core,
So our souls may continue to live forever more.
