The Swamp of Screams

Many explorers dared to reach the mysterious Swamp of Screams, but not many were able to return. Those who did returned in fear and said that this Swamp is like the hell of the earth`s surface. Many dangers are there, such as poisonous gas the earth itself emits, dangerous critters and the high risk of getting lost in the fog.

This is one of my first terrains
I would like to hear what did you like and what not from it and what should I improve for next time.
My opinion is that I did good, or even very good job, but it`s just not unique and very creative.

The background is fine, the front however needs some work.
Also I'm not a huge fan of the leaf tile, but different strokes to different folks, right?

I personally dont like the BG and i dont think those trees fit in besides that its not so intresting but it isn´t bad either.

@Dr.House Thank you too, but what does the BG lacks? Maybe you refer to the general green monochromia or sth...

Remove the blue glow, also, the barren rock in the bottom right corner is ugly. The BG is flat and maybe add some ruins in the BG.

When you make screenshots try not to but camera so close to big objects, like trees rocks, etc, cause then you see the corners and sides and it dosent look so good. Otherwise its pretty good, keep it going.

sorry for the late response well with the background i mean that it is so emty you might wana make som mountain or trees to fill it up a bit what im trying to say is that the BG is a bit plain imo. Anyway hope this helped a bit to explain it
