This was supposed to be part of the lore for my map but since I decided to change it in the last moment I am putting it here.
Pardon my bad english.

My third mission in supervising... Horribly boring as it may be it had to be done...

Five hours after my departure from the headquarters the truck was nearing his destination. It was almost midnight and the air was filled with the smell of grass and pine trees. At that time I already had decided to have a short nap before we arrive. The sergeant who was driving the truck seemed quite stressed for some reason. He was watching the road but his body was merely moving like he was staring at something horrifying and couldn't look away from it.

"Are you okay?" - I asked, but instead of answer I recieved only a nodding. What was wrong with this guy? Perhaps I would suggest relocating him to a new mission after mine was over.

My main destination was a huge estate deep inside the forests of that region which name I found too hard to remember. My objective was to supervise the work of our troops in something that we call hostile enviroment... altho I don't know whats so hostile about a mansion in a forest. Many people do these kind of investments those days.

Reassured that my driver was actually alive I closed my eyes in a desperate attempt to get some sleep. It was getting quiet, only the trucks' engine was distrubing me a little but soon I stopped hearing it too.

"WAKE UP!" A violent voice boomed in my head and I jumped shocked just to find myself in a strange place covered in darkness. It was like my eyes are still closed. I didn't hear any sounds but my own quickened breathing. What was going on and where the hell was I? I tried to sense the smell of the trees but I smelled only my own dirty boots.

Suddenly in the darkness I saw a light. With no hesitation I went to the light's source just to find a wooden torch which fire was fading quickly. There were so many questions going through my mind right now but as I was about to start making a list of them I saw another torch a few meters ahead in the darkness. This time I moved to it slowly and unsure of what is the meaning of this. I looked back but the first torch was already extinguished and this one was soon going to be too. Suddenly a woman's cry chilled my blood. It echoed for a few seconds later. I never noticed how I removed the safeguard mechanism and loaded my gun. That woman seemed so familiar to me but more like from a memory.I kept going into the darkness untill it engulfed me entirely...

"Sir we are here. Wake up." The sergeant was already getting out of the truck when I opened my eyes. The rain, the forest smell... back again. A horrible nightmare, but still just a dream. I quickly jumped off and started to gather my stuff from the compartment. The surrounding was the same like earlier tonight - a lot of trees and high bushy grass. My attention was drawn by that guy who was still looking nervous and confused.

"Why are we stoping here? This is still the road? " The sergeant tightened the strap of his backpack and looked at me.

"Just recently an avalanch blocked part of the road and the truck won't be able to pass it. We will have to walk to the camp." The thunderstorm that was taking place right now almost muted his voice and the rain was making us soaking wet so I closed the truck's door and we both kept going on the road on foot.

"Asemble a squad to clear the road in the morning." - I yelled not sure if he can hear me from the thunders coming above our heads. The rain was increasing rapidly. I already hated that place.

We got attacked on the road from what looked like once was a human being... and the revealations about the busyness of the millitary in this region from the sergeant left me with no choice but to contact General ********* and hope for cooperation in shutting this place down. The scientists have used humans for their experiments with DNA . I remember the look of that thing when it died. It looked at me with horrified eyes and screamed something that probably resembled speach once.

The young sergeant was lightly injured by the creature so I took the lead. We were soaking wet to the bones from that cold rain and it was just that moment that I saw the lights from the huge house and the camp outside of it. Soldiers were at their stations despite the rain and cold weather. We managed to not draw any attention and just greeted the men at the camp entrance. I couldn't risk telling everyone what we encountered before I am sure they will be on our side. It was highly unlikely for the government to allow this experiment but I didn't want to take any more risks. I send the sergeant to the medical tent and went to find the radio communication equipment.

As I aproached the communication tent a marine came out of it mumbling something under his nose.

"Is there a problem?" I asked but I already knew problems here tend to happen very often.

Most of the soldiers were probably dead already. I could still hear the moaning of the creatures. We got attacked again but this time in the camp, a camp full of armed men which got wiped in a minute. We managed to get to the house and shot our way in. With the handfull of soldiers remaining we secured and barricated ourselves in. Cut off from the world, in a old house full of god knows what creatures with limited ammunitions - one hell of a night its going to be....
