Thanks Apo, i didnt see that.

Young that issue was fixed. For some reason I placed two gates there?

The newest version should have that removed though. There was only one riddle after that and then you are on to the unstable part of the map.

EDIT: Was it really necessary to remove ALL the comments?

I figured I'd get to it eventually. Sometimes the string in the quest log isnt long enough to be able to read the entire riddle so that could also pose a problem. I appreciate the suggestion though. =]

Try using your "Interact" ability to talk to all the people standing in line. One of them contains the riddle.

If you haven't noticed yet, there's no escape to the maze. You actually have to find something in there. Use your Insert and Delete keys to rotate the camera.

Riddles

I stack with the heaven n' hell thingy? Any hints?

Sometimes people can say more than you think they will say.
You're close with the heaven and hell, but it's not heaven, nor is it hell.
Everyone in the room has something in common (apart from the judge perhaps :/).
Try to find out what and why they are there (perhaps you need some dictionary as well).

I would die for a faster movement speed in some levels though (in one specific level, I tihnk you know which one I'm talking about).
And the levels aren't really ascending in difficulty, but that's really something minor and personal (is there even a way to lose the riddle with the gates? - well, I know there is, but you'd have to do your best to NOT win that level).

I'll just approve this, it's been on pending for too long... riddle games are always a good way to spend your time on when you haven't got anything better to do.

I had already played you map and i enjoyed it, HOWEVER, i find that riddles are too hard and you haven't any hint to help you. Maybe you could add hint that appears with time when stucked. Because it's really easy to give up when you can't find.

By the way, me too i'm stucked at the warchief part ^^

Like redfal, I'm also having problems with the second riddle. You said in a post for him, that a hint would appear. Where? I've been stirring into the screen for over 10 minutes straight. Thx anyway, <3 the map!

Warchief Hints: (I think this was the warchief riddle, at least I hope it is )

hint 1:

It is a physical object which you can literally buy, don't think outside the box here.

hint 2:

"People use it, but don't like using it" is actually incorrect... at least, I don't really think it makes a lot of sense.
It should be more like "People who use it don't realize they're using it", or something along those lines.

hint 3:

The one who buys it is not the one who uses it.

If you're talking about the paragraph, then I guess I was lucky that I've played a lot of riddle games before and this is a pretty well-known paragraph

You really need to look at the paragraph, it is not some kind of trick or anything, there IS something definitely wrong with it.
Look at all words, all letters, something is missing in the paragraph... but what?

If it's about the sequence:

You need to look at how many numbers there are in each line.
As you see there is 1x 1 in "1" and 2x 1 in "11". Edit: it's not a multiplication sign it just means the amount xD
Based on that you should be able to find it.

If it's the nickel-riddle, I won't tell anything, there's a wooden sign and the riddle is really easy =.=

I am very good at riddle games like this but paragraphs ain't really my strength >.< Really appreciate your time and effort put in this. Ap0calypse - much thanks for keeping up with this thread, I will even include some rep for you. The hints are actualy very helpful and not too revealing so it is completely acceptable.
As for the rest of you I will try to answer the questions to the best of my ability.

If by the second riddle you mean the footman one, a hint will appear in the room far to the left at the top. Please keep in mind I haven't touched this map for some time now lol.

I regret to inforrm you that the map probably won't see much updating because I have simply just lost a lot motivation. One puzzle in particular (the final one) has just taken every bit of drive I had to complete and I just can't think of anything interesting lol.

And for the warchief riddle, there is actually a hint inside the room he is standing in.. I believe.. or maybe I'm thinking of another one.

I do know there is one instance of the object within the map and you will encounter it before you reach the warchief.

But man.. if you keep this up, I may just decide to get back into the map.

Oh and about the door one, It was a lot harder of a puzzle where I found it, just not much room to make it larger lol. The difficulty of the riddles does actually vary too; meaning the first riddle isn't necessarily the easiest. I think some of the hardest ones were at the footmen.

Try using your insert and delete keys to rotate the camera. I was able to select it.


And on a side note, I am ediiting the map today. Keep up the energy!

If you had checked the quest log, you would've known that you should use "-" in front of all your answers.
If it still didn't work, then you were just wrong.

Also i've noticed that when you right click Interact ability,you get weirdo tooltips in it,sometimes some random letters or something similar to paths to files.

This as well, and unfortunately I cannot understand it either

Yeah, basically. I worked on a little bit but the next part is more of a physical riddle and its a pain in the ass. If I regain the motivation, I will finish it. I only really got a little bit to go.

I just cant find out something with those hints theres still multiple stuff which fit at it

And it wouldn't be much of a "riddle" map if we told you exactly what fit... If you want an "answer" map, then search for it on hive. Don't spam this thread with messages complaining that we aren't beating the game for you.

Its kinda old but the answer is Purgatory. In the Christian mythology, Purgatory is a place where you are cleansed before entering Heaven which is in between Heaven and Hell.
