The Endwar
Name not set

Concept:
A campaign, set in a fraction of my own fantasy world. There will be a storyline consisting of about 10 missions from different perspectives and much gameplay variety ~ ranging between plausible stealth 'em up to traditional RTS.
I will make multiplayer versions of some of the maps.

Story:

Set 1308 years into the "Third age", year 308 of Revelation* (pretty much Bronze Age)
The people of the Twin Spirits*, Toru and Jagina, have battled for domination over the Motherland* since year 100 of Revelation and the disappearance of their masters. Their causes are unclear and forgotten, what matters is the destruction of their opposition.
The Jagina ruler, a warfare mastermind, wins 3 decisive victories and conquers the Hossar Protectorate*, splitting the Torun into 2 separate lands.
Though having crippled his opponents and enabled them for extermination, he accepts the plea for a ceasefire.
The pact is signed by marrying the kings' respective firstborns, who reluctantly are forced to accept, and relinquishing any claims on the Motherland and declaring it sanctuary.
The Jagina ancestral forests are cut off from their control while the Toru are allowed to keep their capitol in the eastern half which causes unrest among the Jagina plebians. A few days after the ceasefire is in effect, the Jagina king is killed and his firstborn is crowned. The reckless son considers this an act of the Toru and quickly breaks with his new wife, and with her the pact. In her place he puts the Amazon* matriarch of the recently lost Ancestral forests, further violating both Jagina and Toru honor, and readies the army for the final war.

The story will follow the following characters: (these are the decided ones)

"Mainan" Seres
Alpha Huntress of the Ancestral Jagina forest amazons and a sort of woodland saint.
Seres, along with her feral twin sister, were the only children of the First Matriarch who according to legend mated with a big cat. She doubts the young and naive matriarch's capabilites and leaves service after discovering a secret...

Takrin Ragefist
A bandit king, quite recently arrived on the Island of Origin. He leads his ravaging crew in search of fortune and fame.

Ayam Vishai
An assassin.

*Info:

The demigods and Revelation:
1000 years into the 3rd age, "God" let 4 spirits into the Motherland in order to guide the humans toward civilization. The Twin Spirits Toru and Jaginas aswell as Hossar and Sarae. Toru valued strength, honor and law and taught the people honor and to administrate. Jaginas valued thrills, sex and a spartan life and taught his disciples to fletch, hunt and butcher. Hossar valued creativity and work and taught the people to build, shape stone and smelt bronze. Sarae, with a female avatar, valued family, safety and growth and taught the people to raise crops. People chose different virtues and followed their masters' avatars. Years were counted after their arrival and marked the era of Revelation.

Amazons:
"Amazons" is a word I use to describe the indigenous people of the Motherland's northern forests, the Jagina Ancestral forests.
Among the amazons everyone, woman as man, is a warrior. The Huntresses, an auxiliary unit of elite female warriors led by Seres paint themselves purple to resemble the First Matriarch.
When Jaginas and his followers first reached the ancient forests of the north, they were met with hostility by the amazons. Jaginas came to admire this warrior tribe but fought them to near extinction. His ways were much like the Amazons' and after their reluctant surrender they adopted Jaginas as their god. With divine power he created the First Matriarch and settled for 50 years in their forest.

Hossar Protectorate:
Hossar led his people into the mountains to the west and founded Bellal Artogyan. After 30 years he realized the location could not support life for the ever growing populace and took his people down the slopes to the sea outside the Motherland. He founded the great City of Stone where Adniyaniga river emptied into the sea. When the Torun and Jagina went to war after the Spirits' passing the Hossar were in danger and the Toru, sharing many virtues, took them under their wing and the area between the western mountains and the City of Stone became known as the Hossar Protectorate in the Toru kingdom.

I posted a .rar with the intro (WIP) in the Cinematics section here
