If you have any idea of what the Emerald Dream IS, you would realize that what you said is plain wrong. The Emerald Dream is unreal, even compared to an already unreal world (Azeroth). Like some crazy other dimension. And the drawing fits this concept very well.

so because its unreal everything looks like a cartoon?

hah, yeah, no, you need to read your lore.

the emerald dream is azeroth if humans or any race existed on it, so it is very real in an unreal dimension.

Which could look just any way. In some ways, you can transcribe the Emerald Dream from Azeroth to the real world, because almost noone (except the druids) knows, what it looks like. It's a place of imagination and it is very unreal, because it is based on an IF-situation. If there wouldn't be any sentient races on Azeroth, it would look like the Emerald Dream does, however, there are many different sentient races on the planet, which makes the Emerald Dream just an ideal or an utopia.

To your 'cartoonish' argument: Who cares about that? Style is style.
