I'm certain there is an easy fix to this I just can't seem to find. In my Tribal Wars map, for the map init trigger, I have a
  • Player Group - Pick every player in (All players controlled by a User player)
  • Create 1 Selector for (Picked player)
My game-start trigger checks for if no selectors exist in the selection area. I also have a mirror of that trigger for computer players.

The problem I've run into is, if in a Battle.net game you have slots that are not filled by a player or a computer, a selector is still created. Closing the slot doesn't seem to affect it. Having an incative selector makes a game unstartable at the moment.

Does anyone have a suggestion as to how I can solve this issue?

That still left a problem when a User slot was left open in a game. Pyrogasm from WC3C told me how to fix this, by using a Player slot status comparison. There is a way to specifically check if a player is playing or not.

Ah, I see what you meant now. I never knew the slot status checks existed before. Thanks for the help, regardless :)

I'll be uploading a new version soon with the bug fixed and a couple new features... though no one's replied to my thread over here so I doubt it'll go noticed :p
