team colours textures or colors?

anyone know if wc3 stores team colours in textures or just as a color? i want to replace the team colour with sumthin like, lets say camoflague.
if this is possible id like to know the paths to theese files so i can replace them.

Team color is based on to the model, But the alpha on the skin allows it to get through. You can add stuff to the team color alpha on the skin but the parts where you add it will not get the team color.

I believe he means something more along the lines of custom team colours, madcat, although feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

I did try and change team colours once, and while I never managed to get it fully working, I do seem to remember somebody saying they had got custom team colours working. I'm pretty sure team colours are stored as textures, but then again, there's always a chance that I'm horribly, horribly wrong.

i think i saw them the teamcolor textures inside the mpq somewhere

to make custom tc you need to change the wc3 mpq. to achieve switching tc to camouflage, erase the alpha and paint camouflage over it
