yeah, the title is a bit vague but it should also be short so.

i have this problem, that my units after spawned are walking back to thier spawn point, as this is a TD im sure you can imagine its annoying.

(and i did search and found nothing)

  • Move Order
    • Events
      • Unit - A unit enters Red Spawnplace <gen>
      • Unit - A unit enters Purpe Spawnplace <gen>
      • Unit - A unit enters Blue Spawnplace <gen>
      • Unit - A unit enters Teal Spawnplace <gen>
    • Conditions
      • (Owner of (Triggering unit)) Equal to Neutral Hostile
    • Actions
      • Unit - Order (Entering unit) to Move To (Center of March To <gen>)
This is my spawn trigger, ive also tried changeing the guard distance in gameplay constraints. but to no avail. im stuck at this.(since im at a boss level, and he walk back),

Any help is apriciated.

Archangel's right. Neutral Hostile has something called "Return to Camp range" or something.
You could try altering it in the Gameplay Constants (Advanced->Gameplay Constants). Enable the Custom Gameplay Constants thing and change the values for "Creeps- Guard Distance" and "Creeps- Guard Return Distance" and "Creeps- Guard Return Time" to as high as possible XD. That way, the creeps won't return to where they were spawned :)

Also, change the "Stats - Can Flee" of your mobs to "False". And instead of messing up with Gameplay constants, you can change the creeps' player to "Computer 5" or something. Then, turn bounty on for that player and you'll be fine.

Useful Tip:
REMEMBER TO DELETE "RUN MELEE AI SCRIPTS" ON THE TRIGGERS SECTION.
I had the same problem with that when I "attempted" to create a Mini-AoS Map.
My Ally Units and Enemy Units would run back and forth if they haven't encountered an enemy unit. Trust me, it was the most retarded AoS Map. Unit's started going around the whole map!!! IT was STUPID AND RETARDED!

I am really gratefull for all the answers im not at my working computer yet, but when i do im gonna try change the gameplay creep camp constraints, i can read from you post that you dont think this is such a good idea, why would this be a bad choice?, im counting to converting this map to a 12 player map when my map skils are horned.

also, ive allready changed the stats:can flee to false. but im gonna try these things out, thanks guys, im convinced im gonna find a way to make it work, still i would like what the pro/cons are of doing it with gameplay constraints VS loseing a player spot to a computer. ^^.

PS. kmde613 you made me laugh with your post. ^^.

PSS. you guys are awsome. im looking forward to spend some time here at hive. ^^.

EDIT reason:I gave rep ++
