Target Point of Ability Being Cast

I've seen it work in many maps... But not in mine?

Whenever I use it, whatever I want spawned, spawns at the center of the map, rather than the point of the ability being cast.

I.E.
Spawn 1 Peon for Player 1 at the target point of the ability being cast facing triggering unit.

It instead creates the specified unit at the center of the map, still facing the triggering unit.

I'm sorry if this has been asked before, but I used the search function and came up with 50+ pages of irrelevant results >.>

which ability do you use? try sth like this
  • Events
    • a unit starts the effest of an ability
  • Conditions
    • ability being cast equal to <our ability>
  • Actions
    • set temppoint = target point of ability being cast
    • Unit - create 1 peon for player.... at temppoint
    • Custom script: call RemoveLocation(udg_TempPoint)

I used flame strike as a template, but all of it's effects are nulled out.
But, even so, I tried it with different abilities, and no matter what I do...

When I use that function "Target Point of Ability Being Cast", it summons the unit at a point other than the target...
(I was mistaken about it targeting the center of the playable map area, it for some reason targets some point in the top left, now that I enlarged the map's bounds)

And yeah, I used a trigger almost exactly alike the one you just posted, just without the remove.

If it matters, I use World Editor Unlimited.

The only problem with that is, I'm having her (the caster) rise into the air when she casts it. The summoned "Unit" is only a dummy effect. It's not supposed to spawn until after she's in the air.

Sorry to say but WEU throws a lot of crap in your map, i once had a problem that i couldn't use hero revive and i went trough hell to solve it, anyways post your trigger or your map here so we can better help you.
