Talon the Mage's Model help with Attachements

How do you attache the Sub Machinegun from Talon the Mage to the hands of an Marine of Talon the Mage? If I attache it to the left hand it looks likea part of the arm and if I attache it to the right hand he holds it weird.

You must have the Submachine Gun as a model on its own.If you try to attach the whole model then your results won't be good.
