Tales of Thanár is a simple ORPG that´s based on gameplay-fun and not on high quality doodads. It makes a lot of fun owning multisided and completely different bosses with lot of strategy and teamplay. This is a NON SINGLEPLAYER rpg, without playing it in a group, you have no chance.

It needs to be more appealing to the eye, It needs something that hooks a player into playing it everyday.

Firstly, this map has potential, just that you need more players to play instead of just 3-4 players. the first boss has 600+ hp, while your party has maximum 100+ hp. and only 1-2 in your party has dps capabilities, with one tank and one healer. its not customised attack system too, with little spells or movement speed for evasion, and hard exp gain, since the characters need to heal after 3 mobs.

Secondly, your revival system. when you die, you are instantly revived, but unable to move due to sleep. i'd rather you make it so that there is a timer instead, and im guessing it wont affect the gain of quest exp too. Also, it would be nice to adjust so that respawn time gradually increases with level, not just a fixed respawn time.

Finally, items. your item list from your changelog seems fine, except i cant help but wonder why you add a -as for arrows. and maybe make some weapons and pots available for sale somewhere in the beginner town too. Also, make a backpack system for people to sell stuffs to merchants or carry weapons to give to the other team members.

too easy.... wut.

all the players were like, "ima farking hero! i cant die!" etc etc. and rush the spider boss even after constant reminder to play as a team. AND then they rage quit.

at least open 1-2 more. its a rage game if even one rage quits from the game. especially when starting out.

also, maybe add a -repick command. 20% of the people who tried the current version rage quitted cuz all chose dps. no tanks, no healers. pure. d.p.s.

which lead to all rage-quitting all over the place.

I don't know why people complain about any of this stuff. Healing in a SAFE ZONE was a good idea. Keeps you from being a retard and just running around w/o ever going back to a town/house. More players seems stupid. Play with people you know, not pubs. And finally, there's no need for shops so early on. So what if you have a bunch of gold? Suck it up and deal with it. Find some people, kill some mobs, and get past the first five meters.

I have to say that a repick command wouldn't be a wholly terrible idea, but it isn't a huge concern.

The biggest problems I have are that there's not enough skills, and there is a bug with the skills where one of your two starting skills will sometimes not appear. And the list of items you can get isn't really complete as far as I can tell. More items (which is obvious) would be nice.

People don't need to be able to pick up every little item to sell it. Gold isn't hard to find. If you have a problem with people taking gold, tell them. Don't complain about the system.

about items: new version will have 40 instead of 20 ONLY on island area
ill do more skills (each class 2 active at the beginning), and a bit faster lvl up, so you can obtain ur skills faster.
about the money: i think youre right, i dont know why everyone is complaining about: "i cannot do anything with my gold", healing pots are not cheap and u need alot.
there will be a backpack system also, but items WONT be saved in it (otherwise for example lvl 1 char picks up lvl 20 item and saves it until he reaches lvl).
im not sure about that but i think ill remove this gold "item" that u have to pick up. instead of this ill divide an amount of gold (based on enemy lvl) and give it to each player. i also want to mention: there will be an out of combat regeneration, BUT its more like in WoW.. its rly slow. you cant regen your full life and mana in some seconds. you can speed up this process with food and drinks which gives u extra regeneration.
i will also remake rly much skills, make them more interesting, give them more effects and combinations. if u want to have more information go to our map development page.

I was never one to fancy magic from spell books.
The areas players discover are black masked. Leveling up is a very slow process. Reviving on death may be very far away from the point of death.
Good luck with that.
