Hello there.

Sorry for not noticing this earlier.

It feels like "Attach Files" should be on the right and "Post Reply" on the left.

Why?

Mostly because when you type a text, you're likely to have your mouse closer to the left side of the screen. In addition, it is also "at the bottom" of your text block. Finally, it feels more natural that the main action of your message should be the closest button available.

I think their position should be swapped.

I was certain I shouldn't have spoken about cursor position because they were going to be people focusing only on that argument.

In any case, I press the left button by mistake most of the time when replying.

The idea is in the screenshot:

Most of my text is on the left, it seems logical to post using the left button.

EDIT:

It's like, the save button is on the left, not the right when editing:

EDIT2: It's like having a pop-up saying "YES" or "NO", "Yes" is usually on the left, unless you want people not to click it by mistake, in which case it's on the right.

Well, that's highly dependent on who made the software. I've seen lots of pop-up menus with YES on the right in games and software.

Anyways, when you quote a sentence dragging the cursor along the piece of text, logically you'd want the Quote/Reply pop-up to appear right where the cursor stops not at the beginning of the text, on the left. Similarly, it's how the Post reply button works.
