The Sundering of Lagosh
The Tale of Tidinis

Hi guys. I am currently in Development for a map called the Sundering of Lagosh. An Alternated Melee map with combinations of custom techtrees, custom heroes, and abilities. This is one of the first maps I have that is near completion.

I have thus far made it based off an Old roleplay. But Got rid of all influences from that roleplay and just based it off a journal me and my friends decided to write.

I have created a game that uses demi-heroes, or elite units. In which you can only build a certain amount of them. But here's the kicker. You don't start out with your full techtree. The entire point of the game is to gather your army and defeat the Demon Lord Belphegor and his endless demon legions. I am currently in development, and have a few testers working on finding any problems with the game itself. So far they give me advice and I bump up the difficulty each time they complain its too easy. This is a difficult map. There are bosses, and this is a campaign altered melee map. You have to find your army which is scattered and broken.

So far I have written the beginning. I am unfortunately not very good at quest making. Infact I am terrible at triggering and yet, I have been able to tinker my way into making my first cinematic, and quest line. So far I have completed the entire game. Minus cut-scenes, dialogue and quests. Techtrees are completed. Except for three minor demi-heroes. (Who are a pain to make based on the current quest line)

Here's a little background which I have written thus far.

Introduction
Welcome to the world of Quaji'll.
The world of Quaji'll has a single continent. Within it were mysterious creatures, Talderians, Humans, Ironborn and many other strange creatures. The Lagoshian Empire, or the Legion of Light, it was once a great empire that ruled a quarter of the Planet of Quaji'll.

It ruled a quarter of the planet along with the Torin Empire, the Dark Talderian who ruled from the dark forests of Quaji'll. Then there was the Talin Empire or better known as the Mountain Kings. Who ruled the Northern Mountain Territories.

And then on the only landmass that was not part of Quaji'll was the lone island that held the Necromantic Kingdom or better know as the Plague Cult. And to the very south lay the Sun Dragon and Sea Dragon Kingdoms, both who were neutral in the Great Hundred Year War.

For what fools we were. The Lagoshian, Torin and Talin Empires both fought against each other in petty conflicts. While the Necromantic Kingdom. Slowly grew its power. With every battle swelled the numbers of the Necromantic Kingdom.

Till one day, they discovered a plague that could turn the living into mindless dead creatures. Unfortunately their dark magics were found by a Demon Lord. Who took great interest in the Necromantic Kingdom. He gave them power and his armies from the Burning Pits and they prepared....

They began the plague in Lagoshia. Where their chief rival was. With the Lagoshian Kingdom crippled. The other two empires and the World of Quaji'll would fall and became a permanent outpost to the Daemon Lord and his endless armies of Demons.

With both the Torin Empires and Talin empires fighting against the onslaught of the undead. There seemed to be no hope for the people of Quaji'll. The Lagoshian Kingdom leadership dead or missing.

It was no wonder that hope seemed to have faded.

Yet hope remains. In Tidinis.... The last talderian general in the north.
Thats where the story begins. Remember this is a draft. I will update it.

This story was inspired by many works. But remember this is suppose to be a dark story. There is no real winner at the end of this story.

There are three other characters.
Helios the Templar Champion
Archmage Salazzar
and Balgair Fear-Rider (Demi-hero)

Infact heres the entire techtree.

I will update as more is to come. You can check my album this is the second rendition of the map. But I scarped the other one and decided to add more stuff to this, and make it challenging and fun.

Any criticism or help, or anything at all would be awesome.

I have it here if you wish to test it out remember I am still working on it.

Also please don't steal it. This took me a month to do.

ON an added note. I would also like to thank my two friends for helping me test this map out.

Sundering of Lagosh - Update!

Hey guys or the three of you that check out this page....
I currently am Working on the next part of the Map. I have figured out the fog of war problem Forgot that it was a checkmark thing.

Also I have currently been working on the triggers and any problems that have been arising. (I also have to rebalance the Main Character's life steal ability. Currently its OP and your units will not die in certain parts)

Heres an updated version. I am currently working on NPC talk and side quests. Currently I am testing this and how to do this.

Yet again any support or anyone that tests out the map would be awesome! More updates to come!
