Anyways, you might want to do some overall polishing, like making the scales look more like scales (giving them individual shading and highlights etc.). It also looks pretty cartoonish right now, but I think the scales are causing that.

Oh wow, that's DEFINITELY creative!
However, I think it could use some better shading and overall polishing. The eyes, for example, look wrong, and not very fish-like.
