yes i read the tutorial.
here is what i want to do:
i want shops to not display the "select hero" button, so that there is room for one more item to buy.
here is what i tried, but failed at:
stored the "select hero" ability in the spellbook, using the object editor. gave every shop the spellbook ability, and removed the "select hero" ability from the string of normal abilities (so that it only would be inside the spellbook, but the shop would not have the ability in the normal way). then i made a trigger, that disables the spellbook ability for every player upon map initialization.
symptoms of failure:
the spellbook icon is displayed inside of the shop. therefore disabling can not have worked. furthermore, not only is the "select hero" ability inside the spellbook (wich you can open by clicking the icon), but it is also given as normal ability (although it was removed from the string of the shops normal abilities in the object editor) blocking one button wich could hold an item.
i am clueless. i followed the steps suggested by the tutorial carefully.
