Spell shiled blocking a triggered spell?

Anyone know how to take into account a spell shield blocking a triggered spell?

For example if i had a spell that does triggered damage and a spell shield blocks the casted spell well the triggered part of the spell still happens.. Anyone know a simple way to make that not happen?
Or at least check if that spell shield is on cooldown or not..

This is about all you can do.
AFAIK the spell shield ability doesn't even block certain non triggered spells accurately.

As per one of my favorite advices:

If you want full control, trigger every damage dealt in your game... Triggering all damages also extends to triggering anything that can affect damage, like spell shields or damage reductions

yeah thats also a ton of work tho would need to pretty much reinvent the wheel with every spell etc.. making all dmg triggered

not really much work on the long run, once you have all your base systems in place... Especially since once you finish your base, then all your future maps can just reuse it... It's worth investing the time and effort.
