Spell help

I want to ask how to use a custom spell in a cinamatic... For Example A blademaster to use a custom spell on a unit... How do I make him level up the spell so he can use it with triggers or is it not necessary? And how do I make him use it on a unit... Thank you in advance....

pre-place the blademaster in the editor. double click him, and there will be a tab in the thing for hero abilities. level the ability to the desired level, and you can have him use the ability through the Use Ability action, which should allow for custom abilities to be chosen. to figure out whether it will be under In Direction, To Point, or whatever, just look for its base ability under whichever one. just keep going until you get past the letter either the base or custom ability's name starts with, depending on which is earlier in the alphabet.

Thank you.. But where is this Use Ability ? I mean, there is the normal Issue Order targeting A Unit , but it seems it does not allow custom abilities.. and I can't find any other way..

You have to issue the order targeting (get spell target type) to make it cast then spell. GUI has some direct order to cast a spell under the "unit" action section.

To cast a custom spell, simply order the unit to cast the spell that the custom one was based off of. So, if you based the custom ability off of blink, order the unit to blink and it will execute the custom spell...

or look what the spell string is. . . for example "immolation" and "unimmolation"

Theres an action in the 'unit' section, if the spell you wanna cast isnt in the list then type the spell string instead (not all spells have them)

Your welcome, you might wanna put a condition: "If ORDERED unit = (your unit)" otherwise when anyone else uses a spell with the same string (eg: immolation/unimmolation) the event will fire.
