Something about weather!

Well....I use this trigger in my map
  • Environment - Create at (Playable map area) the weather effect Ashenvale Rain (Heavy)
and for unknown reasons it doesn't work.I have disabled Global Weather and i want to use different types of wether in different regions.Anyone knows what am i doing wrong?

Thx guys,but actually you're able to change the weather into each region without using triggers.And in the trigger i used i had set only Map Initialization,that's probably why it didn't work.And yes you could this with variables too,but why going to make such a simple thing from the long way?

the only problem with setting it in the region property and not with triggers is that you cannot turn them off... but if you do not intend of turning them off after some event then its better to just use the region property box in the WE...

I think that's what he's trying to say above with the "I only set the Event as Map Initialization".

But yes, if you do want varying weather then you must do it in Triggers but if you just 1 weather effect for different zones (like in an RPG) then using Region Properties is best.
