Hey,

I've seen that Rui was very busy with setting the Prefix at the World Editor Help Zone.
Maybe it's usefull if users help him with placing the following things on the top of their post:
(And maybe send him a PM to say it's solved.)

If you do not do this, the prefix don't will be changed.

Sounds good, could stand out what status is the question. It could also help him, and it stands out with colour. Probably it could be Yahoo! Answers where when the problem is solved otherwise, a private message sent automatically could be sent saying "Answer Solved!". Could be useful otherwise .

Would really be better. Always wondered why it'd not like that? Permission problems? Workload, because the scripting will kill you?

And maybe it would be usefull if a admin/mod can create a new account and set it as mod and then a Auto-PM will get send to him.
Every Mod/Admin can get on that account and they don't get any annoying spam messages.

The name could be something like Prefix_Fixer.

Well, users probably wouldn't get round to marking threads as either solved or unsolved. It would be better if they could change it too, though.

A user can search only solved threads to find a solution to any problem they're encountering.

The way it is at the moment sure doesn't give the image of a better organised forum, no offence.

And that's why we're discussing what to do here, instead of leaving the forum as it is

Ya, we have 2 options.

Get Rui and the other mods a big task to check every unsolved thread with new replies and look if it's solved.

Get a Automatic PM-er that sends a PM to the Mod who is assigned for it (Rui?) and maybe add the things I've did in the first post.

If it's able to do, I would set the prefixes if the mods are to busy.
I would love to do that.

Or, you could give the power to add the 'solved' prefix to users as well. It's not too hard, I'd imagine, and would take a lot of strain away from the moderator's
