Small tweaks to existing models...!!

well, i need to use carrion swarm and crushing wave as my base spells. and when i change the missile art to something like an archer's arrow, it looks like it's digging into the ground.... if someone could please make models for the new spells with higher elevations i would really appreciate it!

here's a list of the things I need for my map

Archer's Arrow
Spellbreaker's Glaive
Death Knight's Death Coil / Death Tower missile
Archmage's missile art
Black Dragon Whelp's missile art
Dark Ranger's Black Arrow spell
Necromancer's little skull missile art thingy :)

And I think that should be all... all I need is those missiles to be raised off the ground a little, cause the way they are now, they're basically digged into the ground.... it looks bad :( I already tried raising the missile art elevation on anything i could, but it doesnt work

You can do whatever you like if you think it looks better :) for me it's fine as long as it's elevated... thanks man!

edit: now that i thought about what you said, in my game the area of effect of those abilities is around 60... its a really really tiny shockwave, so it's better if u leave the scaling alone!
 
Well here ya go took me bout an hr to do, but its cause im learning.
No credit needed.
I raised them 70, what ever the measure for model units is.
just tell me how much more or less they need if there not ok.

Hmmm, something is wrong with the Archer Missile, I think it's too elevated, sometimes it goes off the screen and can't see it at all... it's weird, can you make it less elevated?

All the others look EXACTLY what I was looking for :) thanks a lot man

edit: Can you make the Red Dragon Missile and Fire Ball Missile a little bit more elevated? not much, they seem to be very stubborn :)

Alright, thanks! i will try the catapult in a bit.

And yes, the little electric ball :p

EDIT: also, could you please elevate the attack missile of a priest? sorry for all the new models but im making more and more units... >.<
 
Howabout i tell you how to elivate them yourself?
Step 1 Dl war3ModelEditor
Step 2 Open it
Step 3 click Window, then Model Editor
Step 4 Select the model (all red dots are green)
Step 5 Click Translations, then Transformation
Step 6 Edit those values (remember what u added or subtracted)
Z= up
Y= Right
X= forward
Step 7, Not necessary in some models (ones with out animations)
Exit "model editor' part then click windows, node manager
Right click on every bone in thats on the far left (those are parrent bones)
and click EDIT NODE
Step 8 Edit the values of the part you edited in the model
EXAMPLE: if you raised the model 100 then take and edit the Z of the node to its curent number + 100 (it dosnt have to be exact 1-2 pts off wont mess it up)
Step 9 Exit node manager, go to the Main screen and save and exit
Step 10 Enjoy, your newly found model editing skillz
