I'm keeping the story secret for the time being.

I'd like for this topic to become a kind of discussion for my future mod project.
Unit design outlines

Lore: humans who evolved on a planet with
similar conditions to earth with the exception of more
jungle land. Society now is fairly advanced and the home world
terra is now one big cityscape with patches of nature. The Empire
is a meritocracy government system. The Empire was named for it's
founder Albriech Elstein (Al-bre-ech El-Stine) Their society focuses on
bioengineering, medical, and Computer sciences. Since the
creation of the clone army researchers
have increased exponentially. However all this genetic
alteration of organic matter can have side effects.

clones-Clones are used as expendable troops,Since then genetic scientists
have tinkered with the genome to form more breeds of clones.

Empire Units

Clone Soldier-Cheap easily mass produced soldiers
armed with blasters.

Quadrupedal Clones- slightly more expensive clones that
can attack 4 targets at a time

Super Soldiers- giant clones that carry BFG's

Warhawk-A ship, the last of the mechanical fighter spacecrafts that is still
being used as an escort. It has wing-mounted lasers that are fired by the Quadrupedal clone
in the cockpit, while a run of the mill clone in the belly mounted turret engages ground targets
at the same time.

Wolverine-genetically altered creature with sharp claws and a high healing rate.

Tiny Commander-A enlisted female human that controls a swarm of 30 rats through a hive mind.
The rats cannot be manually controlled but follow the leader. The rats attack ignore all armor.
The TC can drive them into a frenzy where they attack at double speed for a short time. The TC can take their army into a building to sabotage it.
Sabotage deals 60/# of rats % damage to a building per second, while the building is being sabotaged it cannot be used.
When the TC dies, all it's rats turn neutral hostile. If a new TC walks close enough to the rats the rats join the new one's army. The TC
has 3 possible passive abilites that can be researched individually.
Pestilence-dead rats poison their killer upon death. the poison deals 100 damage over 100 seconds.
Reproduction- a new rat is added to the TC's private army every x seconds, until they are back to 30 maximum.

Seigebreaker Behemoth-a giant armored beast that is a wonderful tank. It has a slow but very powerful attack. it can also charge to knock enemies flying and do damage in a line. Units hit by the charge along with the behemoth itself are stunned for a short time.

Thunderbird-a large bird that can generate bioelectricity. That energy can be fired off as bolts. It also has a magnetic field around it.
The field can attract or repel enemy attacks but charge dissapates over time. Also has a shock aura that damages all enemeis in a small
area around it. Can also be set into a charging mode where it lands to regenerate health and energy, as well as supercharging buildings
and workers around it. You can only have one.

Raven-medium genetically modified creature flyin unit that attacks ground
with dives. Is invisible when still.

Hanging Aboratoreum-flying plant research facility, has nettle traps, wood traps,
and weed traps.
nettle traps damage enemies that walk on it dealing more damage the longer they stay within the trap
wood traps which bind the enemy with wood beams
weed traps.

Empire Buildings

Molecular Transport Platform-can be upgraded to a beacon to transport units.

Molecular Transport Beacon- units loaded into a beacon can be unloaded from any other beacon.
Trnasport beacons can be further upgraded with a flight mode. this is late game.

Cloning facility-builds clones also researches general clone effectiveness

Clone Genetics Lab-researches genetic modifications for clones.

Creature facility-builds creatures.

Creature Genetics Lab-researches genetic modifications for creatures.

Armed defense Turrets- fires a sweeping machine gun against ground, and
concentrated fire agianst air.

Storage Chamber- building that stores raw genetic and celluar material. provides
supply and the more you have the faster the build times.

Lore: The first Nivica were small insectoid-like things formed by a
powerful supercomputer known as the Oversoul. Over many years
they combined technology and evolved new designs to form the Nivican Collective.
The conclave is fiercely loyal to the oversoul.

Niviling-has template data for units

Nivilite-has template data for buildings

Scorpion-a gtg that can deploy into
a stationary gta mode that fires burst lasers
Mymridon-A melee attacker that strikes with electric wires. Attacks in bursts of energy

Spyder- A smal scout that can burrow underground as a mine. When burrowed it can be remotely
detonated dealing light damage in an area.

Locusts-four from each ling, small and swarming,
can be upgraded with splash resistance.
attacks with a light talon

Lattice Wisp-small wisp of lattice that can transfer it's energy to other units to heal their hp and energy
can also turn into a destructive energy cyclone that requires energy to maintain.
also has a timed life

Scizor-fires lasers really really fast. the catch is that
it can only fire at a single target at a time. you have to lock-on to
the target first. the other can dispel lock-on by
leaving the scizor's range. has bonus damage against buildings

Firefly- the firefly is an ata fighter. It can overcharge
it's lattice field to destructive levels. After this for a short duration if it
collides with a ship it will do heavy damage ignoring armor killing itself.
it is also invulnerable during the shriek of flame, but will die at the end.
it takes half damage from heavy attacks.

Chimera- a versatile ship that can fire at air and ground targets.
it has two abilities Shockwave (which disables stationary base defenses)
EM Gravitation (which grounds an air unit, channeling.)

Poltergheist- A light fragile air unit with harrassing abilities. Can disable buildings for a short time.


G.N.A.T- a collections of billions of nanobots that form a single unit. can set nanobots on other units to
spy for you. Can also seperate into a cloud of nanobots that
block and darken an area. Also by overcharging it can form into a large swarm
that deconstructs anything that enters the swarm.

Pure Metal-by fusing a lite and a ling you reconstruct the template data
Pure metals make powerful units and buildings.

Titan- this large mech attacks ground by means of mass laser bombardment
it can fire it's Zeus cannon at structures. cannot attack air can be attacked
as if it was an air unit.


Seraph-This heavy air unit's lattice core forms a protective shield around it that prevents
weaker attacks from doing any damage.The shield however does not affect heavy units.
it attacks by focusing lattice in an small area to overload
causing small explosions.(splash damage)it also passively generates a regeneration field.

Nivican Hub-builds lites and lings,
can also research overall data feed efficiency
(build time upgrade)

Lattice Emmiter-food building, also generate a lattice regeneration field, buildings have to be placed
within that field.

Niviling Datacore-researches ling tech.Has purity data Omega

Lattice Chamber- researches Lattice !,@,#,$,%,^. (6 levels)
each level of lattice core improves the general nivica unit
abilities ever so slightly

Purity Datacore-built from pure metal, researches pure metal tech.

Enigma Machine-built from pure metal target an area and then another area, the units
in those areas will swap places.

Charged Cannon-cheap tower with a powerful attack, but low hp and armor.

Lore: The Vesper Alliance is an ancient agreement between
two species on the planet known as Dden: Telsalion a species of energy-based lifeforms
And Sephi, a race of psychic faeries. Sephi live in cliques which are a multitude of sephi connected telepathically.
Telsalion can manipulate energy and electricity around them.
to them this electrical energy is known as veris.

Alliance Units

Youngling clique-air unit, gathers minerals without drop sites, no attack.

Veris Harvestor- ground unit , gathers vespene without drop sites.attacks ground.

Veris Sniper- No attack, has three abilities, Energy burst which releases
all of the units energy in a single damage burst
Disruption pulse, which jumps around between mechanical
units for a short duration, stunning all afflicted for
a short time.

Veris Decimator- A slow attack speed, but fires a gigantic burst of electrical energy
that deals heavy damage to buildings, and halts production at those buildings for 10 seconds.
When attacking units it fires a chain lightning attack. attacks ground.

Veris Assasin- is cloaked when not attacking, has a very high damage melee attack.

Divix Tribe-a tribe in the telsalion that believe in control over the self as opposed to the enviroment
They shapeshift into various forms to fight, forms include:
sparky, viper, spectre
sparky-a squirrel like form that is agile and releases charged bolts as it moves
viper- a form whose attack can jolt enemies causing them to take DOT.
Spectre-an invisible scout
Novablast Wyrm- a serpentine dragon that attacks with a large blast of energy that explodes in a wide area. very slow attack speed
deals 300 with it's attack.

Nagarith Tribe- mid game medium ground unit, has insanely high hp and armor
cannot attack, has 2 abilities, Cover allows it to take damage for one friendly unit.
Sensory overload can release a wave of a mix of energy that overloads the neurons in their skin causing it to have a sensory overload forcing them
to flee.

Ether Tribe Sage-air unit, has two abilities, Dominance which takes control of an enemy unit until the
user is killed, can be used repeatedly. Teleportation which teleports the sage clique and any
dominated units to a target friendly unit.

Wind Tribe Flash- fragile early ground unit, has extremely high movement speed, attacks ground with a short range.
Can be upgraded with a speed boost


Fire Tribe Demolisher- ranged attack type, destruction. Throws fireballs as a base attack..the fireballs explode dealing minor splash damage to enemies.
can cast Phoenix Flare a blast of several homing fireballs that also explode. To cast this the demolisher has to be below 1/4 HP. Can also cast

Water Tribe- AOE, support caster, Has Bubble which traps a small group of enemies inside bubbles that can only be broken from the outside.
The bubble breaks in one hit, bubbles last for a short time. Also has energy transfer which allows the water tribe to transfer energy from itself to other friendly units

Metal Tribe Sorceror- a very powerful caster. can cast Construct a channeling ability that tears down an enemy structure slowly to form a metal golem that dies when it leaves a certain radius
around the channeling sorceror, can also cast disable which prevents mechanical units around the sorceror from moving while it is channeled. Has

Earth Tribe - base defense support ground unit, Can use earth wall which summons a XXX HP wall to block an area. can also cast Earth's bounty which temporarily turns a normal mineral node into a high yeild.

wood tribe herbalist- air support has a limited supply of invisibility cloaks, it had cloaking for itself. Healing spray which is an area effet heal that affects ground.
attacks with root grapples and has a 5% chance to make a tree grow around the unit petrifying it. the tree has 20HP, to free the unit inside you must break the tree. the unit inside cannot
move attack or use abilites.

Sephi Conclave-expands into the sephi base. builds younglings.

Flash Conclave

Longevity Conclave

ObelisK of Veris-expands into the telsalion base. builds all telsalion units.

Divix Obelisk-expands into the divix tribe base. builds all divix.

Veris defense Grid-units withing the veris field of this building get buffs.
+move, +attack, + attk spd.

Sentry Conclave-sends out sentry cliques to defend.

Sorry but the plot remains my secret for now.

I am considering trying to build the races in warcraft 3's editor as practice.

I'd love to hear some comments on this.
