SC2 HD Netherdragon

The fantastic Netherdragon from SC2 warcraft3 hd assets, he had some problems but I managed to fix them in order to make him look natural as possible, the ones that remade him did a dirty-bad trick for the blue glow, instead of link it to hd bones they preferred to bring the complete boneset from vanilla nether dragon and link the glow to them lol, awful, I fixed it and deleted those unnecessary bones cause they were causing the glow to have a different position from the model, also I fixed some attachments misplaced, I was thinking about fix the "wings" attachment but I was not 100% sure because the original model has the attachment at the same position, enjoy!. doesn't need portrait!, textures are in his original quality !

model by blizzard, thanks taylormouse for m3 plugins

Uncompressed textures: Link

for those creative people the model is fully UV wrapped, I don't know the reason but could be useful

Oh crap, I thought that was just a bad rip.

I hadn't re-ripped him to know that for sure, but when I saw that I thought the ripper was taking shortcuts (just because I'd seen a lot of other early rips do the same thing).

Yeah, they did a trick like this for other models like the infernal catapult, they took the cannon weapon bones from the original and attached them to a ghost bone lol

These would be handy for Mana Wryms now since they do need a model and they could be added to the game...

Oh. Nvm then :D
If you want them to naturally change in color rather than depend on the Object Editor's vertex colors, you can duplicate the model into three, changed the glow texture from "Blue_Glow2" to "Green_Glow2" or "Purple_Glow" then assign them accordingly. You should set the different RGB colors from whatever data they are to '255' so that the color doesn't look extremely what it should be. This is how I've imported the models into my game, having three different models: NetherDragon, NetherDrake, and NetherDragonHatchling. I had to change their directories to match Classic's so they are considered replacers rather than different assets altogether, then placed the model files into one "NetherDragon" folder inside the 'Units\Creeps' directory; the texture file being in the 'Textures' directory like in the original.
