I'll be honest, in the light of all the excellent models you've made recently, this comes as a disappointment. The model looks fake, and is rather crudely done. Some minor resemblance with early-50s-60s SAMs but overall it looks like a crappy hollywood prop. Sorry for the harsh words, it just came as a big disappointment after all the other models you've made.

Feanor i agree with you. Find me pics of one specific stationary SAM and ill make it I had problems with finding sams , needed it fast to add it near Vulcan , and thats the result xd

Those are some nice pictures you found, TDB... Hehe, Kofi, maybe you could re-make it as one of those and enter it in the modeling competition? ;-) Also, you did a good job with using the in-game textures

I just looked at it in wc3 viewer, which really isn't that reliable, but do the missiles disappear at the part of the attack where the missile would launch? If not, that would be an improvement to think about

Aha, I just opened it in Magos, and the missiles do disappear, so just ignore the suggestion above

Kofi I posted an S-300PMU2 pic. Use it, and give it like a pack/unpack time of about 30-60 secs. (in real life it takes 5 minutes to unpack).

This is a great model, but the sam sites dont fit the grayish dull metal of the sam site. Blinding Angel Missiles. Lol.

Pretty cool otherwise.
