Runic Illidan
Hello everyone! This skin isnt finished but i just wanna know what you guys think of it so far. I also need some suggestions because i dont no what else to do. The eye, blade, and wings and horn are so far all free hand while the others are just plain recolour.


Please comment and suggest

Sure thing mate.
The stuff might not look that detailed cause i worked in 1024 pixels x 1024 pixels and reduced it back to 256 pixels

Recolour and some 'freehand'. There's no need to work in 1024x1024 for something such as this.

Its not finished yet, So what else should i add to it? I cant think of anything right now.

Try redrawing everything instead of recolouring his skin and making his tattoos blue?

Looks pretty nice. Go on. Oh, I'll give you some advice: If you are really making this at 1024x1024, I suggest you add a sharpen filter after you finish and resize it to 256x256.

I don't much like the concept of having runes on his blade, can you upload a shot of the original blade with your skin? It looks nice though and you've done well with the textures. It looks complete to me,

Im not an advanced skinner but this is the result of Runic Illidan compared to the Original. Anymore suggestions would be appreciated.

Well, the skin is good, but it doesn't fit to each other. The runes are in different color, and there is too much white/black variation in the skin.
Simplify; to much variation on skin.

I dont get what you mean revolve. Can you explain it in a simpler way cause im new to this skinning thing.

I can try, but i am not sure if i can. As you see, some of the runes are blue and some are purple, and i think it doesn't look so good together. And the armor on arms looks a little weird to the pants. Things odesn't fit well together. Except that, it is a good skin, just try to think of it with other skins.
