How exactly is this incorporated into the game you're making? Cutscenes, quest information, etc.? If that's the case, it might be easier just to write out a rough sketch of this story, and then work on the game features themselves. But if you're supposed to be playing as Erich, Zeff, etc., that might be a different matter...
