How long has the wc3sear.ch models section been off-limits? Cuase I just found out, and it irks me.

I don't know if this is the right place to ask or not, if it isn't please move it to the correct location.

I would like to go into the models section of Wc3sear.ch but when I go there, I am redirected to the Hive, now there are models there that I intend to use for an upcoming project (if the terrain is done.) And I would like to get access so I can get those models.

Yes, all the models were imported, however some of them are NOT good models.

Our resource moderators (like me and others) must decide which are the keepers and which go in the junk pile (those can't be downloaded here).

Yep, the models and stuff are out hive, and there is a user that asked ralle to close off wc3s since people still went there and were uploading junk. Plus those sections at wc3sear were no filtered correctly.

Anyways, i could help if u tell what u need... olny things i have trouble with are animating (i can make dissapate tho) and i ATM don't have a tool to skin wiht :\ so yah ill help any way i can

A lot of crap models were removed for being of sub standard quality. Only the good models remain and are up for DL. If you want a specific model that is not up for dl to public, you need to give the name of it to one of the model recource moderators and ask for them to please try and find it from the un-approved/ignored sections. If they do it is purly up to the kindness of the moderator but thats how I would go about the matter.

As our moderators approve the wc3sear models, more will be available for download. Only fully tested, high quality models will be approved.

When I origionaly posted my thread, I was irked becuase I couldmnot acsess WC3Sear.ch's models section. I know that the models are being transfered over to here, I'm not a f*cking moron, but I also know that not everything is approved yet, and not everything will. I, all in all, am hoping that WC3sear.ch will be opened until atleast all the modles transfered are sorted out, if not find a place for the models that are not hive aproved. (Not counting ripped models and the like)

I just approved GreyArchon's models:

1. SuperLuigi
2. SuperMario

To the best of my knowledge, DVH's Mario and Luigi models are available only at wc3c at the present time.

You can still download my Mario & Luigi models here. In the same site, I still have the Koopa pack, Mushroom Villager pack, SMB Item pack and the Kirby models.

The reason why I can't upload them is that Hive doesn't support upload for modelpacks yet.

I just approved GreyArchon's models:

1. SuperLuigi
2. SuperMario

Even if they work in-game, I wouldn't recommend GreyArchon's versions because...
- The faces are too dwarvish to be Mario & Luigi.
- Moustaches are fudged up (especially Luigi's).
- Bones aren't rearranged making the animations look a bit weird.
- Lame Team Color and textures.
- Feet and hands are too small.
- Horrible Icon CnP.
