Rename stuff

I am trying to rename something and it changes the name when i make a custom unit but when i start the game it does not have the name i typed in.
WHAT AM I DOING WRONG!?!?!

ummm... what is it your are changing the name of???

Locate and edit the Object Editor field: Text - Name

For heroes, edit the fields: Text - Proper Names and Text - Proper Names Used

I am trying to rename a riflemen and it isn't working

What I thnk may be the problem ios that you have created this new unit, but you are still placing the old one on the map, make sure you are placing the correct unit, maybe place both on the map just to be safe so you can see.
