I need to remove Health-bars or at least force them off for players, as it is directly changing a game mechanic. Maybe you've stumbled upon an exploit before maybe? Maybe a really high or low value or maybe changing the model file for the display?

I don't know how they work, just throwing some ideas out there, any help is much appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Health bar's size depends on unit's Selection Scale. Higher selection scale = longer health bar. Unfortunately, there are no triggers to change any player's game settings.

I don't know how it would look if there are minimum selection scales. High health values will still show Health Bar, it depends only on Selection Scale.

Setting a unit's "Selection Scale" to -10 will remove its health bar from view. Of course, the WC3 editor will normally not let you set a unit's selection scale to zero or less. To overcome this limitation, hold "shift" and click on the field you want to change (Selection Scale). You can then set the value to whatever you want (such as -10).

Alternatively, I've also heard that using add/remove Locust (you have to do it indirectly, because by default the editor tries to hide that ability) will make a unit selectable, but it will no longer show a health bar or player name, though I've yet to try it.

Sadly, locust will make unit invulnerable and unselectable. And huge selection scales can look... well, quite bad. I'm not sure about negative values.

thanks ill try some of those, also I thought locust doesn't add invuln last I checked, shows how little I use it.

+reps

Edit: The neg selection scale works perfectly as long as you click on the model so the only limitation i guess is if it is a small unit it could be difficult.

As for the locust one as Caedrus said world editor hides it well so I'm yet to test that
