• set GRoup = units owned by (owner of "caster") of type footman

• wait 2.00 seconds

• group - pick every unit in GROUP and explode

then when it exploded Group the caster of the spell died too

That trigger is not very informative(it's not even a trigger) but maybe the caster is a footman. That can cause it because you are picking player units.

Also add this line to the end of your trigger to make it leakless:

• Custom script: call DestroyGroup(udg_GRoup)

• Unit Group - Pick every unit in (Playable Map Area) matching (Matching Unit is owned by Owner of (Triggering Unit) and (Unit-type of (Matching Unit) is equal to Footman and do: Unit - Kill (Picked Unit)
