Remove Carrion swarm effect

I've made a custom ability based on carrion swarm, however the units that get hit still show the black smoke effect, is it possible to remove this?

Use the Tidal Wave spell. Forgot what it was called but you can just change to missle art of it.

naga had tidal wave, but you can still fix the black smoke by removing the Buffs on carrion swarm

i removed the buffs but it still happened
