Removing black effect from Carrion Swarm

In the object editor go to the abilities tab.
Find your carrion swarm ability and go to the field that says:
Art - Special (it is the 22nd field from the top)
This is the black effect that is giving you the problem.
Change this model to anything you want and it will appear on the target.
Completely remove the model and there will be nothing.

Go to Object Editor, under the tab Art - Special there is a value that indicates the effect to be played should an enemy got hit by the spell. Delete it. The black effect should be gone then.

EDIT: Awww, I'm late in replying...
