hey guys...

i found these 2 regional fog system but they are made 2009 so i think they are outdated (first one, second one).

so now my questions.

1. is there a similar system anywhere with the day/night changing fog feature or better features?
2. if there are no such systems can i still use one of these 2?
3. if i cant use one of these and there is no similar system could someone make such a system?

thanks in advance

Well if you want to know if you can use those two, then you should be trying them, if they do work, there's no need to look for others, if there aren't similar systems, then searching for them would not yield other systems of the type. Effectively it's logical to assume that -there isn't- if you can't find any more from searching, however it isn't our job to look for you, likewise it is not our job to test if those two work. We can help you with constructing one, however we're not a request section, we just explain how to go about it, not literally do it for you. I just bluntly and honestly answered each question.

i had a reason to ask the questions in that order.

1. question : because they are made 2009 i think theyre outdated so i assume that there are codes/fundtions that should/could be replaced or removed because they bug, are not efficient or whatever. ao i asked for a system thats similar and up-to-date.

2. question : if there is no similar up-to-date system i asked for taking a look at the codes and tell me whether theyre okay/good or not (can cause bugs, isnt efficient and so on).

3. question : if there is neither a up-to-date system nor the codes are usable because the already named problems i asked if someone would be that nice and code such a system.

so it would be redundant to try them out on my own.

wc3 was made in 2003 and its code is just slightly outdated but it still works the first system works fine just read the documentation and utilize it as for any others existing well i dont know more than the almighty *click*
i found them through google -.-

but thanks for telling that the first system is fine as it is.

dude your computer is not going to die from a presumably bad vjass code in a wc3 map the worst that can happen is the game will crash and you will have to click on a bug report message besides the best wc3 systems were made around 2007 -2010 i looked at the code of the first one it is mostly some calculations and no functions so dont worry
