Reforged map preview picture

Hey.
Does anyone know if it's possible to change the map preview picture in Reforged?

Just using .blp or .tga files doesn't seem to work for me.

a comment in that thread near the end has a solution but from what i understand once you do that your map will no longer be openable in the world editor, so you pretty much gotta make a copy of your map, then do the steps needed, then upload the map. When you want to continue working on it, you open up the original.
If this is wrong please correct me but personally i've experienced major crashes trying to get that map preview and minimap to work, luckily i made a backup just before trying it out.

what about changing the minimap, and then changing it back on map init? that seemed like a simple solution

Not sure what you mean.
Anyway, the best solution would be for Blizzard to actually fix a feature that worked fine before.
Maybe one day

The method working right now for me was to change the minimap prewiev in the Mpq files but the problem is when you edit your map again it’s gone... and you Need to do it again... second Problem things like the start position and shops are visible... on the preview mention that...

Hmm, alright. Seems like it may not be exactly worth the trouble as of right now. Hopefully they make it a more simple process in the future. Thx for the answers nevertheless.
