read string from chat message

how can i read a string out of a chat message?

examples:

-zoom 3000 (sets cam distance to 3000)
-ally red (allies red )
....

 

[Kaitech[SanD]]

Player - Player types message equal to -zoom 3000
Player - Player types message equal to -ally red

Do you need a trigger for each? It's easy enough.

Use the substring command and variables for the number

yeah, thats easy for sure, but not what i wanted. it doesnt read a part of a string.

substring is what i was searching for, didnt know about it.
