Question for people who have Reforged

On SD maps, do you have the HD UI or the SD UI?

Reason I ask is, in my map I'm overwriting the Undead UI with the Orc UI, and the Night Elf UI with the Human UI, but I imported the SD versions. If you get the HD UI even on SD maps, I might need to import both, if that's possible.

Edit: yes, it does seem like it's possible.

We get SD UI on SD maps, and HD UI on HD maps.
Can't launch HD maps while SD mode is active, and if map is SD-only UI automatically switches to SD even if HD mode is active.
If a map supports both modes, we get the UI for the current active mode.
Ah, nice, thanks for the answer! That certainly makes things easier, and the map lighter :D

But don't you still have to download all those HD assets no matter which mode you're playing? So the game is still like 30gb?

As far as I know, we do. And SD+ too. (note - SD+ still uses HD UI)
I have never had battle.net version prior to Reforged, so I don't have first-hand experience with how that works.
Where's good old CoD method (select what you want to download) when it is so needed?
But I think all remasters that have two graphics modes do so. Looking at most remasters that have two graphics modes, I think this is the case here because there were probably plans to do on-the-fly transitioning between new and old assets, until it turned out they are not fast-loadable (compare to SCR, Asterix and Obelix XXL Romastered, Legacy of Kain Remastered).

Man, that's really bad. My condolences. I hope you're still having fun regardless.
