Projectile play unit animation

Hi folks!!

I am making a custom spell. The point is I want the projectile to look like a running wolf (precisely, like the "walking" animation of the spirit wolf unit). Does anyone knows if/how I can do that? Can I use any specific animation from an unit as a projectile?

Thanks for reading!!

Projectiles exclusively use stand and death animations, as far as we know it's impossible to play other animations on them.

So either you edit the model or you make a triggered projectile which is a unit.

The easy way is to convert the model to .mdl, and rename the "walk" animation to "stand".

I remember there is a tool that can delete the unused animation to lower the model size. Just cant remember the name. I think its made by OinkerWinkle.
