Problems with Icons

Hi, I downloaded some icons from a site (couldn't recall the name, I think a russian website) the icons are of excellent qualities (saved as .tga file) and made by Crazyrussian. However when I opened them in GIMP, I could not see the icons. I also tried to convert them to .blp using warcraft viewer, but still no result.
Is it because the files are corrupt? If so, how can I fix them?
(I tried searching the icons in Crazyrussian's resources but it seem he did not upload them there, so I could not get them)

-Crop all Icons that you need on the pictures with "Paint",
-Covert it to .blp format using https://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/tools-560/button-manager-v1-8-2-a-116280/

I think GIMP supports TGA, but perhaps it just doesn't want to open. Either Photoshop or that. ^

But maybe the reason CRAZYRUSSIAN left them un-uploaded because they were are exclusive resources for their RotHE project, unless there is a public declaration somewhere.

@Mythic: haven't tried with photoshop (it's on my pc, and I'm using GIMP from my slow laptop now) anyway, the problem is solved...yayy!!
