problem with ownership

Hey guys,

now to my problem... i want that the ownership changes from neutral passiv to player 11 DG. when i do a normal whit with (Press a and target unit) it works but when i use a spell the monster will not change the ownership to dk i dont know how to fix it can some one help me ?

this is my trigger:

Event

• Unit - A unit owned of neutral passiv is underattack

• (Triggering unit) equal (Attacked unit)

Action

• Unit - Change ownership of (Triggering unit) to Player 11 (Darkgreen and change colour)

i tryed a lot to change ownership with a spell but it dont work hope someone can help me thx

If you mean that a UNIT_A uses spell (let's call the spell Mind Control) on UNIT_B and the trigger is supposed to change the owner of UNIT_B to the owner of UNIT_A, then the following shall suffice:

• Untitled Trigger 001
  • Events
    • Unit - A unit Starts the effect of an ability
  • Conditions
    • (Ability being cast) Equal to Mind Control
  • Actions
    • Unit - Change ownership of (Target unit of ability being cast) to (Owner of (Triggering unit)) and Change color
