i dont actually know, to be hounest ive only look in triggers for a solution to this and found none. so instead of spending ages looking over object editor and game constants and stuff i prefer to ask. also how can you make it so you can build on the masked area (blackened area) on the map?
nono its not the black mask, its the stuff around the edges of the map which just make it look nicer. i dont really need help with it anymore, i worked around it..still i would liek to knowl.
In Scenario->Map Size and Camera Bounds untick 'Modify Camera Bounds' and tick 'Modify Map Bunds' and raise the map edges sizes 'till they match the camera ones to get rid of the pre-placed blocked out region around the edge of the map. Unless you placed it with the 'Boundary' terrain brush, in that case just use the 'Remove Boundary' terrain brush .
lol yes, it was called Hero Attack! or something lame, then i think William added a load of doo-dads for me and so i called it the "modded" version, but now its plain old Hero Attack! again
to be hounest, im not making this map fo other people to play, i dont know if i will release it. im just doing it because triggering is fun.
