three new videos up

also here, have some copypasta

Although the circumstances would be nearly impossible, a level 100 Shuckle can potentially deal the most damage in one single attack through the use of numerous stat boosters, by using Helping Hand, Metronome held item, Power Trick, a Skill Swap to Pure Power or Huge Power, 6 Attack boosts, and the Defense Curl/Rollout combo. Also, Shuckle's partner must have the ability Flower Gift and the weather must be sunny. On the 5th impact of Rollout, if used against a level 1 Ledyba or Yanma that have been hit with negative Defense modifiers (such as Screech), it can deal 213,896,052 damage with a critical hit.

Played more PBR tonight with my new doubles team. Currently it's:

Pancake - lanturn @ leftovers (modest +spa -atk)
- substitute
- icy wind - only 55 power (ice beam has 95) but hits both enemies and lowers speed. Could be useful Is very useful, especially because aggron is a slow bastard
- charge beam
- hydro pump
52 HP / 252 SpA / 148 SpD / 56 Spe

Muffin - togekiss @ leftovers (calm +spd -atk)
- air slash
- aura sphere
- softboiled (3rd gen move tutor)
- body slam (60% paralysis and it works on ground types) (3rd gen move tutor)
252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD

Shockolate - zapdos @ leftovers (bold +def -atk)
- heat wave
- discharge
- roost
- HP grass
248 HP / 228 Def / 32 Spe (not quite sure what these EVs are for but they're from smogon)

Gnocci - uxie @ leftovers (careful +spd -spa)
- heal bell
- skill swap (swap with lanturn so it gets levitate, only after zapdos dies though)
- thunder wave
- U-turn
252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpD

Paella - aggron @ life orb (adamant +atk -spa)
- earthquake
- head smash
- aqua tail
- ice punch
252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe

Toast - Blaziken @ expert belt (adamant +atk -spa)
- flare blitz (phys)
- low kick
- thunderpunch (it can't learn ice punch)
- rock slide
252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

The blaziken gets killed too quickly. Gonna replace it with infernrape (probably physical; we'll see). Turns out you can't heal teammates with softboiled, so I'mm gonna replace it with wish and fill the last slot with either TWave or nasty plot. Uxie's good at surviving explosions and swapping abilities around but otherwise it's dead weight. Dunno what to replace it with though.

On the other hand, the lanturn and zapdos are a great team together.
The aggron is FUCKING AWESOME. I LOVE HEAD SMASH. <3 Plus its huge defense means it can survive an EQ (even though it's x4 weak to it) and still have about 1/4 health left :D

Teams I went up against were pretty mixed. I realised my team gets completely destroyed by sandstorm teams (EQ, EQ everywhere), but on the other hand I won every match where the opponent had ubers. Admittedly I got a bit lucky with discharge's paralysis, but still. DISCHARGE + HEAD SMASH. <333

Anyone got any ideas for the uxie replacement? Keep in mind how PBR works: When you find an opponent, you can see what pokemon they have and then each of you have to choose four based on what you see. Something that destroys sandstorm teams would be nice :D

I FUCKING LOVE CREEPYPASTA

Pick something with Rain Dance.

My favorite combo in doubles is Kingdra (Damp Rock) + Toxicroak (Black Sludge)

Because of the rain, Toxicroak gets like 3/16 hp per turn (mix with sub/focus punch) and Kingdra gets Swift Swim (iirc), so you can sweep or sit back and stall

Also, with a Rain team, you can carry Thunder on your Zapdos, but that will effect your other combo.

Hmm, sounds pretty nice, but toxicroak has a ground weakness and I already have a lot of ground weaknesses in my team. :\

(Keep in mind that there are no tiers or clauses in PBR... would a garchomp help? it gets sand stream)

Yes but I don't want a full rain dance team ;D

Just accidentally sent my poke-walker through the dryer.

If it doesn't work after letting it dry off, is there a way to purchase a replacement one?

Yes. Where? I don't know. But I know you can buy replacements.

Hm... rock polish on aggron, yes/no?

gosh i've been inactive, that's what i get for losing internet for a week, oh wells, i'll look at your team later Pyrite, but at first glance it isn't too bad (though i'd swap Uxie with something else)

What move set do you think would work best? Probably not draco meteor since you tend to stay in a while in double battles (as opposed to switching all the time in singles) and outrage randomly attacks one opponent, which isn't very useful. Maybe a mixed set with waterfall and dragon pulse? And which dance should I use? (Or both?) D:

(This is my set)

Kingdra@Damp Rock
Ability: Swift Swim

Rain Dance
Surf
Ice Beam
Dragon Pulse

Toxicroak@Black Sludge
Ability: Dry Skin

Substitute
Focus Punch
Sucker Punch
Stone Edge

I'm sure there are other things you can try. The main idea is that Toxicroak does physical sweep while Kingdra does special sweep. I don't know if Kingdra learns any Spe Atk upgrade moves tho :/
