Poe

"When the humans and the undeads were at war in azeroth the undeads would take human war prisoners and experiment on them. The undeads were developing a super soldier that could fight in the battlefield for eternity for their cause. These "poes" are human war prisoners whose souls have been drained by necromancers and put into soul lanterns that is attached to giant bodies made out of cloth. But the experiment failed... they couldn't control the poes, they were hungering for revenge and could not be controlled. They unleashed the poes on human territories. Now a days the everlasting poes still haunt the forests and mines of azeroth only hungering for more souls to eat." lore by me!

Ok here's my first animated unit model uploaded here. It is a Poe and i got the idea from The legend of zelda: Twillight princess. The texture isn't that good but i didn't have time to finish it and i think it's time i upload this.

100% made by me (though i had some help^^)

Credits to Misha for animation help and Thrikodius for particle emitter help.
Credits to General Frank and Shamanyouranus for helping me with finalizing stuff!
Made using milkshape, GIMP, War3model edit, wc3 viewer and paint.

Update 1 - added attachment points, event objects and collison shapes.
Update 2 - added a helper and General Frank helped me fix the attachment points.
Update 3 - fixed decay animation.

Do make every attachment point work properly you must add at least one helper to the model.

Good job. But please next time watch the perspectives, so you don't have to turn the model on 90 degrees.^^

Dude, you should improve the cloth texture. Make it look less La Mexicano Celebrato de Undeado and more clothy. Would improve the looks very greatly. You could use the living puppets from the movie 9 as an inspiration for the texture.

Otherwise for the texture, its awesome! ^^

For all those talking about the placement and such....
This was clearly inspired by the Poes from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
Actually from what I said before, you nailed it pretty accurately with all the textures. Really in game with that crazy filter it was hard to see the stitching and such because they glowed so much.

Hey I was just playing Zelda: Twilight Princess the other day. Killed a few of these guys too :) Looks great :)
