...some people are. Some people are playing the 1.30.1 live patch on regular Bnet. Some people are playing neither and exclusively using LAN to run 1.29 or even older 1.27 or 1.24b. What information are you trying to glean/why do you want to know this? Perhaps we can answer that better.

Most people are playing on the live servers, not public test. If the map you want to play has a problem on live patch then it would be a good idea to try it out on the PTR.
