Here, we can see what it looks like in front of the portal where the last battle took place... Burned and mutilated bodies everywhere... death... demonic fire.... There are some human and goblin forces, searching through the battlefield for survivors.

A small group of 5 specialists and their leader is being briefed by Roman himself about the coming journey into the fading portal .... What will they find there? Where did these demons come from? Will we ever know?
