Permanent Immolation not scaling with level?

I've used the search button to no avail. I've tried to create a hero ability based off permanent immolation, but no matter what level it is, it only does the damage for level 1.

Like if I set the damage to:
Level 1: 10
Level 2: 20
Level 3: 30

it only does 10 damage at level 30.

Any suggestions?

Yes, this is something I used in a spell request and it seems that it doesn't properly work. I haven't tested it yet (because the request was done yesterday), but you can try adding the ability in a spellbook and disable the spellbook.
  • Trigger
  • Events
    • Map Initialization
  • Conditions
  • Actions
    • For each (Integer A) from 1 to 12, do (Actions)
      • Loop - Actions
        • Player - Disable Immolation Spellbook for Player(IntegerA)

I must be missing something, adding the spell to a spellbook is going to fix the damage scaling?

Interesting. Now I don't have much experience with using spellbooks outside of their basic use. So I just wanna make sure I get it right. I just create a spellbook for the spell and disable it. Then give the normal hero ability to the hero? Or give them both?
